Students are required to complete service hours each year at a church, school or non-profit charity organization.
Freshman & Sophomores= 20 hours
Juniors & Seniors= 30 hours
The goal for these service hours is to encourage our students to model “leadership in service” as well as connect them to organizations where they can build long-term volunteer relationships beyond their four years at Lutheran South. Service hours are due on April 30; the hours may include volunteer experiences that students complete during the summer before the current school year.
Saved to Serve completion forms are available in the school office beginning at the start of the school year.
