The following scholarship listings list dates for the 2011-2012 school year.  The listings will be updated as information is received in the Guidance & Counseling center during the school year.  Most of these scholarships will have similar deadlines each year.  Information on scholarships can also be found in the Naviance Family Connection program: http://connection.naviance.com/lhss.

All scholarship information received by the Guidance Center is kept on file for student use. The following is a list of those scholarships which are on file in the Guidance Center.

DALE E. FRIDELL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP- This is open to anyone aspiring to attend a university, college, trade school, technical institute, vocational training or other post-secondary education program. You cannot be receiving or awarded a full-tuition scholarship or waiver from another source. To apply go to: www.straightforwardmedia.com/fridell. NAVAL ROTC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM- For students interested in joining the NROTC. You need an ACT score of 24 with minimum of 22 in both math and English. For information, go to www.nrotc.navy.mil/

SOUTHEAST MO STATE U. JACK BUCK SCHOLAR-LEADERSHIP AWARD recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding character, academic ability and potential to be a leader in their community.

ST. LOUIS MENSA CLUB: Are you planning to major in the mental health field? This includes but is not limited to psychology, counseling, social work, and psychiatric nursing.
